Our paper, “Selecting Context for Rule-Grounded Explanation Generation: A Small Language Model Study in Injection Moulding Quality Prediction,” by Jostin Jerico Rosal and Josue Obregon, has been published in Processes.
The study examines how small language models can express symbolic decision rules as natural-language explanations of manufacturing quality predictions. It focuses on how contextual knowledge and behavioral guidance influence the generated explanations, contributing to our research on human-centered XAI.
